Overview
We're looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to build secure, scalable APIs and data services. You'll work across Node.js, Java, and .NET to deliver robust server-side solutions.
Responsibilities
What you will work on
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
- Build scalable data models and optimize database queries
- Integrate third-party services and payment gateways
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues
Requirements
What we look for
- 3+ years of backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Java, or .NET
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Nice To Have
- Experience with GraphQL
- Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Understanding of security best practices
- Open source contributions
